Hello everyone ! this is my 2nd best Article as well i hope to be useful , i decided to dedicate this article to " Psychic Monsters " first of all what is a Psychic Monster ?

Psychic Monsters

Psychic monsters are the first new Type of monster to be released in years (the twenty-first), and had their debut in "The Duelist Genesis". The Psychic types seen so far often resemble robots or cyborgs, and often feature elements of cyberspace, circuit board patterns, and yellow electricity in their art. It is worth noting that many Psychic-Type monsters resemble what in the past were Machines, Fiends, or Spellcasters (such as Mutant Mindmaster, Mind on Air and especially Jinzo, whose OCG name actually has "Psycho" in it). The majority of their effects and support cards require Life Points as payment. However, some recover Life Points, while one has the capability to do both. Overall, the theme of paying Life Points and gaining them back is consistent.

Unlike any other Monster types released so far, Psychic monsters have consistently supported each other as an archetype theme for the most part.

Most Psychic monsters tend to be either LIGHT, DARK or EARTH-attribute.

Notable Psychic monsters include "Mind Master", "Psychic Snail", "Psychic Commander", "Krebons" "Thought Ruler Archfiend", "Magical Android", and the TCG-exclusive "Overdrive Teleporter".

Probably one of the best support card by Special summoning a Psychic Monster from your deck , used specially for Synchro Summon in Tele-dad Decks can be chained to Heavy Storm or Mystical Space Typhoon when it is set face down

Telekinetic Charging Cell
Type : Spell Card
Property : Equip
Equip only to a Psychic-Type monster. You do not have to pay Life Points to activate its effect(s). If the equipped monster is destroyed and this card is sent to the Graveyard you can pay 1000 Life Points to return this card to your hand.

Telekinetic Charging Cell is a world debut card for the TCG, like Allure of Darkness and Test Tiger. you can abuse Psychic Effect Monsters and spare your Life Points

Type : Psychic/Tuner
Level : 1
Atk/Def : 100/200
You can pay 800 Life Points and Tribute 1 Psychic-Type monster, except "Mind Master", to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Psychic-Type monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position.

One of the all important Tuner Monsters level 1 with an amazing effect so you can search the right Level for your situation , You can use it for a Combo with Emergency Teleport tributing your monsters unitil you run through your entire deck’s monster lineup and bring them with Pot Of Avarice or Psychic Overload that means a million of cards in hand and 1 Monster on your filed probably a Tuner

During the End Phase, if this card is the only Psychic-Type monster you control, destroy it. You can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls.

Something as Breaker The Magical Warrior or Cloudian-Acid Cloud for free if you use Telekinetic Charging Cell

Type : Psychic/Tuner
Level : 2
Atk/Def : 100/1500
Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points and select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls and 1 Psychic-Type monster you control, except "Psychic Jumper". Switch control of those monsters. Their battle positions cannot be changed this turn, except with a card effect.




You have six ways of searching Psychic Monsters from your deck what is more than a Dad Deck with Rota and Stratos That means your deck is almost synonymous with your in-play options. To shut this deck down, your opponent is going to have to shut down almost every card in it. Don’t forget that Psychics make it easier to Synchro summon than almost any other deck.

Psychic Jumper is also a great reponse to Herlakinos seems that he was one of the biggest fears of DAD

Psychics are going to see play in both dedicated versions and as tech in previously existing decks. The free special summon means that you can play three Emergency Teleport cards, search your deck for Destructotron, destroy your opponent’s back-row cards, and then tribute for a Monarch, netting a huge foothold over your opponent. In any deck that wants to play Synchro monsters with consistency, Psychics are going to be a huge help. Most impressive is their ability to be played as a dedicated deck, which will definitely be a fast one. The combinations are incredible, and they’ll most likely be seeing top-level tournament play before long

Considering that Psychic monsters are control-based cards, The most difficult challenge for a control deck is finding a way to reverse events that have forced you into a losing situation.
